iTunes named AM’s debut album one of the “Best Indie Albums of the Year” and his latest effort “Side By Side- Duets Vol. 1″ shows him collaborating with his very talented Los Angeles cohorts. Above all SIDE BY SIDE- DUETS VOL. 1 is pure AM- an indie pop/folk concoction that is infectious without being moronic, hip without being oh so, and pop infected without losing its edge. The EP features original songs as well as covers from the Velvet Underground (a unique Bossa Nova version of “I’ll Be Your Mirror”) and The Beatles (a haunting ballad of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”).
